For some reason LJ truncates my @reply tweets :/

That just seems weird to me.

So, I'm putting together this blog post thing at Kimichee.com where people can talk about books and movies they've made, or that they just really like and want to talk about. There's an easy form to fill out if people want to talk about particular things. I get a text file on my end so I can put together a post.

I don't want to get a lot of spam, but I think this will be a lot of fun. I do like having lots of different stuff showing on my site, and I'm sure people get tired of seeing the same thing all the time. Plus it's cool helping people out.

I like saying, "Sure, I'll totally pimp your shit!"

I'm really hoping I get my shit together. I've had to put off writing for the last few days while I work on the business side of things. Suxor.

You know when you totally hate your boss? That's me right now...

I'm the boss

... And my boss is a real bitch :( She's lazy too, and always distracts everyone with her talk of The Hillywood Show and jalapeno spaghetti.

I love writing and sharing my stories. If I could, I would make all my writings free. But I can't.

I'm super poor with debts to pay, so every little bit helps. That book money buys me some food (it's nowhere near enough to live on) and I'm grateful for it. And I realize that there are people just as strapped for cash as I am. Sure, reading a book could be considered a luxury to be sacrificed, but what kind of world would that be and would I want to live in it?

Which is why I came up with Kimichee. I want to give everyone a chance to read my stories.

Kimichee serializes the raw version of stories and they remain available for free reading. The Paid versions are sleeker and usually have extras. I'm just starting this experiment in syndication*, but if it works, I'll provide more free content.

Everyone will be able to read my stuff. And to all those people that purchase copies of the ebooks, pbooks, pods, whatever, you'll be keeping stories like "From Diamond to Coal" and "The Panic Pure" free to read.

So to everyone that buys my books: Thank you. I love you. Don't forget to bring a towel.

- Pick up a copy of "From Diamond to Coal: Arc One" by Sol Crafter for 99ยข at Smashwords or Amazon.

- NEWS: "Heroes & Villains" will be coming out from Less Than Three Press August 14. Mark your calendars.

* I use iCopyright on Kimichee. If other people would like to syndicate my content on their site, there are free and paid options available. For book publishers, please discuss it directly with me.

I've been running iCopyright on my stuff for a while now, but no one has tried to use it :/

It seems like such an awesome idea, whereby you can run a syndication feed on your website of other peoples' content. So I put my stuff up on offer, but no one seems to want to try even the free version out. It's kind of disheartening.

http://www.kimichee.com * I post original fiction. I'm obsessed with serials and I thought It'd share. So I made Kimichee *

"From Diamond to Coal," by Sol Crafter

I got an email telling me that someone wanted to join my group (Kimichee), but when I went to Goodreads there was no Approve button or anything. I had to go back to my email and follow the link.

As anyone that knows me knows (-_-) I go through phases of verbosity and melancholy combined with OCD. I've got that whole magic number thing going on where I suffer from anxiety and I dread doing common everyday things like answering the phone or communicating through email. I don't leave my house for days at a time. (I think it confuses people that know me during the up times because I'm ridiculously bouncy and upbeat. Then when I take a downturn, I get ascerbic and I can't handle dealing with any kind of foolishness, which is like a complete switch around.)

So to not be able to just accept someone into the group on Goodreads... *sigh*
