I've started rinsing my cookie sheet before laying the tin foil over it, and the tin foil sucks itself down onto the sheet perfectly with no crinkles or weird folds. Just a little dampness, and the tin foil is glossy and smooth. Then I let it sit for a couple of minutes to come to room temperature before adding whatever food and popping it in the oven (I don't want my cookie sheet to bend.)

I looked online to see if everyone else has been doing this, but I couldn't find anything.

I'm thinking about making my own dog biscuits. There's a cancer risk associated with milk bones, and since his dog died of breast cancer, my brother has been hyper-vigilant. We've switched to an organic brand, but it costs more. So I figured I'd try out making some vegetable and chicken biscuits for my little baby dog. (He likes broccoli and carrots!)

This is an easy and hardy meal. It's food to fill you up without
costing a whole lot of money or being that difficult to make. Plus
it's really tasty.

The rice I use is usually the leftovers, so sometimes there's more
rice and other times more vegetables.

If you're making this just for yourself, for one potato I'd probably
use one cup of rice.

WHAT YOU NEED:
potatoes
cooked rice
soy sauce
sesame oil (olive oil or vegetable oil can be used)
garlic powder (or diced cloves of garlic)
onion
green onion
eggs
salt

OPTIONAL:
Spam diced
lean ground meat (make sure hamburger isn't too fatty)
cooked ham diced
meat cut into thin strips
peeled & deveined shrimp
shredded cabbage
carrot diced
defrosted frozen peas
defrosted frozen peas and carrot medley
broccoli broken into florets
black pepper
bell pepper sliced or diced
zucchini sliced or diced
eggplant sliced or diced

I love spicy tofu. It's incredibly simple to make and is nearly impossible to mess up. It tastes great with rice.

My biggest problem making it is not eating it all before the meal.

WHAT YOU NEED:
firm tofu
soy sauce
hot red pepper
garlic powder
sesame oil

OPTIONAL:
diced green onion
bonito (Hon-dashi)Read more... )
